How do I create my first digital menu?

Creating your first menu is simple! Just visit our homepage, sign up, and start adding your menu items. Add categories, dishes, photos, prices, and descriptions. Customize the design to match your brand, and publish! Your menu goes live instantly with a QR code for customers to scan.

Do I need an account to use Menujo?

Yes, you need an account to create and manage your digital menus. New accounts land on the Free plan immediately — no credit card needed. If you want Pro features (10 menus, 60-day analytics, custom branding), you can subscribe at any time and cancel whenever you like — no lock-in.

Can I add photos to my menu?

Yes! Adding high-quality photos of your dishes is one of the best features. Upload images for each item to help customers visualize your food. Photos significantly increase customer engagement and sales.

Account & Authentication

How do I sign up for an account?

You can sign up using your email address, or use our convenient social login options with Google or Apple. Simply click 'Sign Up' and choose your preferred method. All authentication is secure and encrypted.

Can I sign in with Google or Apple?

Yes! We support OAuth authentication with both Google and Apple accounts. This provides a secure, convenient way to access your account without remembering another password. Your data remains private and secure.

I forgot my password. How do I reset it?

Menujo is passwordless, so there's no password to reset. On the sign-in page, just enter your email and we'll send you a secure magic link to log in. If you use Google or Apple sign-in, manage access through that provider.

How do I delete my account?

You can delete your account from your account settings page. Please note that this action is permanent and will remove all your menus, analytics data, and account information. Consider downloading your data first if needed.

Pricing & Billing

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover) and debit cards through our secure payment processor, Stripe. All transactions are encrypted and PCI-compliant for your security.

Is there a free plan available?

Yes! Our Free plan lets you create 1 digital menu with up to 50 items, 10 categories, and 1 folder — enough for most independent cafés, food trucks, and small restaurants. Pro ($7/month) raises the caps to 10 menus (250 items, 50 categories each), 3 folders, and 60-day analytics. Can I cancel my subscription anytime?

Absolutely! You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Your paid features will remain active until the end of your current billing period, after which you'll be moved to the free plan.

Do you offer refunds?

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for annual subscriptions. Monthly subscriptions are generally non-refundable, but we'll consider refunds on a case-by-case basis for exceptional circumstances. Contact our support team for assistance.

What happens if my payment fails?

If a payment fails, we'll retry the charge and send you email notifications. You'll have a grace period to update your payment method. If payment isn't resolved, your account will be downgraded to the free plan, but your data will be preserved.

Can I customize the design of my QR codes?

Yes! Our platform offers extensive customization options including colors, patterns, logos, frames, and different QR code styles. You can match your brand colors, add your logo, and choose from various design templates.

What's the difference between static and dynamic QR codes?

Static QR codes contain fixed information that can't be changed after creation. Dynamic QR codes redirect through our servers, allowing you to update the destination URL, track scans, and gather analytics without reprinting the QR code.

Can I track how many times my QR code is scanned?

Yes! With a Menujo account, you get detailed analytics including scan counts, locations, devices used, time stamps, and more. This data helps you understand your audience and measure campaign effectiveness.

Can I add a logo to my QR code?

Absolutely! You can upload your logo and we'll automatically position it in the center of your QR code while maintaining scannability. We support various image formats and will optimize the size for best results.

Technical Support

My QR code isn't scanning properly. What should I do?

First, ensure the QR code is printed clearly and isn't damaged. Try scanning with different apps or devices. If the issue persists, check that the content is correct and the QR code isn't too small. Contact support if problems continue.

What's the minimum size for printing QR codes?

For optimal scanning, QR codes should be at least 2cm x 2cm (0.8 x 0.8 inches) when printed. However, the ideal size depends on the scanning distance and amount of data encoded. More complex QR codes may need to be larger.

Which QR code scanner apps work best?

Most modern smartphones have built-in QR code scanning in their camera apps. Popular third-party apps include QR Code Reader, Barcode Scanner, and Google Lens. Our QR codes are compatible with all standard QR code readers.

Can I use QR codes offline?

Static QR codes work completely offline once generated. Dynamic QR codes require an internet connection to redirect to the final destination. The QR code itself can be scanned offline, but accessing the content may require connectivity.

What's the maximum size for QR code content?

QR codes can technically hold up to 4,296 alphanumeric characters, but we recommend keeping content concise for better scanning reliability. For longer content, consider using dynamic QR codes that redirect to a webpage.

Privacy & Security

How do you protect my data?

Can other people see my QR code analytics?

No, your QR code analytics are completely private and only visible to you when logged into your account. We never share individual user data or analytics with third parties.

Do you store the content of my QR codes?

For static QR codes, content is only stored temporarily during generation. For dynamic QR codes, we store the destination URL to enable redirects and analytics. All data is encrypted and securely stored.

What happens to my data if I delete my account?

When you delete your account, all your personal data, QR codes, and analytics are permanently removed from our servers within 30 days. This action cannot be undone, so please download any important data first.
